Wild Things

I think I've come to the decision that my favorite editorial spreads are the ones of girls playing dress up. These photos of Scarlett Davis from Fashion Gone Rogue make me think Where the Wild Things Are so much. Wanna go to Burger King and ask for a golden crown with me?

TGIF baby

Crazy week of work with so much to do before the line gets shown. I can't explain to you how happy I am that it's Friday--I've got a fun little weekend project to work on...What are you lovies up to this Friday night?

TGIF babyyyyy.

hair.

I want braids and a peak of color (one more easily achievable than the other).

Softie.

I'll start by saying, the softness captured in each of these photos makes me smile.

I love this photo for multiple reasons. Those bloomer shorts are so adorable, always love socks peeking out of my boots, and not only is that artwork way cool, but I love that hundreds are filed away like books in a library.

Look at those tiny, long legs! She's fabulous in her little skirt, knee highs, pinned back hair and poppy lipstick.

Blush pleats, winter white fur, and blonde locks.

I want this to be me on Sunday morning.

Whip It.

Incredible shoot of Ylonka Verheual for Flair found on Fashion Gone Rogue. Not gonna lie, immediately after I saw the first few photos "I whip my hair back and forth" popped into my head, but that doesn't take anything away, just gives it a little extra attitude.

Hold My Things, Will You?

And this is why I adore you...

Stella McCartney in a bold, bold blue with 4 hard right angles.

Sonia Rykiel in a warm flannel with fringe for all.

Givenchy. Small in size, but an intense zap of color.

Viktor and Rolf and an abstract, straight cut, patent bow.

Judy Blame for Pacco Rabanne. Plenty of gold, silver and copper for me, you, and all of our friends.

Looks like I'm not the only one that's been a bad, bad girl. I hate that I've been away from blogging for so long! I feel like my last post was ages ago and I'm so sorry! All of these amazing photos came from the same great source-Fashion Gone Rogue-which never fails to inspire me even when I have been going 100 mph the last couple of weeks and my eyeballs feel like they're going to fall straight our of their sockets. Thanks for continuing to visit! I'm going to be good again about updating! Eye yi yi!

The Looker

These are some new (ish--I've actually been meaning to share these photos for quite a while) "paper finds" from a book called "The Looker." It's a great collection of photographs, all that are of extremely natural girls. I find it quite inspiring (warning to those with precious eyes: there are quite a few boobs and crotch shots). But honestly, just the realness that each photo embellishes speaks a million words. I recommend checking it out if that every day girl inspires you, too!
