stumbled upon some looks i love...

Hellooo Twenty8Twelve!
(by: sienna miller)
loving the cut of this shirt--and how professional it looks but then paired with the cut offs for a little bit of "flirt."
The tie of that last shirt is carried over here to the skirt--still paired with this casual denim top which i love and i'm definitely liking this crop corset. how freakin' cute for summer.

this shirt, i definitely would love to own. i remember having one of my favorite shirts when i was little be one that tied right at the belly button. not only is it fun to reminisce, but look at how cool that shirt tail is in the back. styling of this outfit (and all of these really!?)--top notch.
this is just flat out cool. i wish i were this cool!
about to take on the world, apparently! doo itt girl!
talk about an incredible one piece. i would wear this every day to the beach if i owned it. in love with this cut.
moral of the story: i'm Twenty8Twelve's newest, biggest fan!

a little bit addicted.

...to these twins. especially MK. and her exotic frog bracelet in that first photo.
PS. I took some photos of the renegade craft fair that turned out really great in Los Angeles last Saturday and Sunday. It was such a blast and there were so many incredibly talented people there. Stay tuned to see the pics!

fantasy fits

I've basically wanted this shirt since the very beginning of summer. I love the length, love the cut, love the color, love the tie hem, love everything about it. The only thing I've found even remotely similar was in SF and selling for oh, sayyyy 2 grandish--which is just not happening for me. I can dream! I will probably want this until the day I die so if any of your pretty eyes come across it for a more affordable dollar amount, please, pass along the info!

into it

loving this. especially these fancy knee highs!

alice in waterland

I absolutely love this photo shoot. There's something about Alice in Wonderland that makes me a little giddy for magic--and that fat cat. These pictures have such a cool take on the wonderland experience. PLUS: those girls are just plain adorable.

these could look awfully pretty...on my head!

This is one of my favorite hair looks right now. I've yet to try it on my own head, but the guts are growing. I want!

a perfect dose of everything

So this weekend was pretty incredible. Started it off with dinner in Laguna with the boy at the Watermarc--my favorite kind of salad (greens with pecans, cranberries, feta and balsalmic), delicious chicken wrapped in prosciutto with spinach, one watermarc martini with fresh pear for me and one dirty martini for him. We stopped by my favorite little candy shop, The Candy Baron, to grab some salt water taffy, candy cigarettes, sixlets, candy buttons and some of my other all time favorites. And then we were off to the ultimate destination point...private little beach on the coast of laguna with some wine, blankets, white waves crashing in the black of the night and plenty of stars in the sky to enjoy.

The next morning we made it to Botegga Louie in downtown for brunch. Everything at this place is pretty ridiculously tasteful.

gluten free macaroons in tons of flavors--so good!
cupcakes and all kinds of goodies...

A little later on this Saturday Kelly and I went to do a little thrift shopping on Melrose. We both came home with some pretty great catches including this purse from SLOW for only $35.00 and this Millou piece (that I decided to wear to see Inception, which was awesome--highly recommend!) from Wasteland.

I can't wait for this pretty thing to keep me organized!

Millou dress. Love, love.

banana, banana smoothieeeee

There's this little place down the street from where I live called LA Cafe and not only are they open 24 hours a day and 364 days a year, but they have the most incredible banana smoothies in the entire world (along with other delicious things like the breakfast sandwich, "the kitchen sink"). If you're in the downtown LA area, you must, must, must make this place a pit stop!

dear shoes, i'm kind of obsessed with you..

Word's just can't describe how much I'm in love with these shoes. The red ones are pretty insane and I totally would have gotten those if I didn't already have a serious red statement shoe. The black/brown combo goes with everything!
